Reception & Common Areas
Hanim’s small size provides our guests with the opportunity to use hand sanitiser every time they enter or leave the building.
Our reception staff are responsible to ensure the above. They will also use wipes for surface cleaning (including handrail in stairwell) and wear disposable gloves.
Our receptionists wear protective masks in the reception area.
Reception doors remain open for air recycling.
All certificates of disinfection are available at the reception (for the building, rooms, mattresses/bed-toppers, pillows, air-conditioning).
We are ready to assist any guest who may be feeling unwell. Following the instructions of the WHO, in the case of need, all the necessary equipment and a medical kit are kept at the reception desk.
The reception desk also has the telephone numbers of all the necessary health authorities, medical centres, public and private hospitals, and assistance centres.
Hand Sanitiser
Hand sanitising stations are installed at the hotel entrance, at the front desk, at the bottom of the stairwell and in all rooms.
The stairwell is ventilated and cleaned every day and air is exchanged through open windows and doors.
Cleaning & Disinfecting Your Room
Following the ‘Operational considerations for Covid-19 management in the accommodation sector’, as set out by the WHO, we have established an action plan tailored to the situation and have implemented it in accordance with the WHO recommendations, enhancing our hygiene services.
All Hanimers know Aida, who has been responsible for our high standards of hygiene in our housekeeping for the last few years. She will now implement the following:
Wash her hands for at least 20 seconds before entering your room, in accordance with the WHO hand-washing protocol.
Wear protective equipment while cleaning. Remove and dispose of it after cleaning each room.
Avoid touching her eyes, nose and mouth while cleaning.
Procedure
We ventilate your room before we start cleaning.
The air-conditioning filters in each room are removed and cleaned before the arrival of new guests.
On your bed, mattress/bed-topper protective covers and pillows protectors are changed for every new guest.
All linen is removed carefully, avoiding shaking, and placed in a container with a lid.
Cleaning of the entire room, includes:
Disinfection of all surfaces, including light switches, doorknobs, remote controls and faucet handles.
Steam-cleaning of sofas and curtains.
Emptying and disinfecting the vacuum cleaner.
Safely removing any cleaning equipment, and replacing it frequently.
We also keep a logbook of the above actions, which is available for guests.
Once your room is cleaned, no staff will be permitted to enter it until the next clean.
Important notes:
All rooms are ventilated and cleaned daily.
All linen is delivered to a professional laundry company that guarantees it is washed at the necessary temperature.
Stay healthy!
Maintain hand hygiene by regularly and thoroughly cleaning hands from the moment you enter Hanim. Use the alcohol-based hand sanitiser in the entrance/stairwell and wash your hands with soap and water in your room.
Try not to touch or use surfaces in common areas.
Please remember to cover your mouth and nose with bent elbow or a tissue when coughing or sneezing.
Please inform us if you are feeling unwell.
We are all in this together.
